The Cisco Signaling Link Terminal (SLT) enables service providers to reliably transport, or backhaul, SS7/C7 (Signaling System 7) protocols across New World packet networks. The SLT is an integral part of the Cisco SC2200 Signaling Controller and the Cisco VSC3000 Virtual Switch Controller architecture, acting as the interface between the SS7/C7 network and Cisco SC2200 or Cisco VSC3000 host.
