This Li-Ion Battery replaces ServeRAID-MR10i (NiMH) Battery. It enhances the ServeRAID-10i controller's performance by allowing data being written to disk to be cached in battery-backed high speed memory. The battery can provide protection of cached data during an unexpected power outage.
