The xSeries x460 Scalability Enablement/Memory Adapter enables a scalable configuration of xSeries 460 and MXE-460 nodes to be run in configurations of 16 sockets or more. One adapter is required for each node that will participate in the scalable configuration.In addition to providing scalability support, this adapter also supports four memory DIMMs. It can be used in place of one of the standard four-slot memory adapters.
