The ProFibre DF4000J leads the industry in supporting the latest Fiber Channel 2Gb interconnects (FC-AL2). The dual loop configuration provides redundancy and disk access up to 200MB/s per loop. The ProFibre DF4000J provides configuration flexibility. Each JBOD may hold from one 18GB disk drive up to fifteen 73GB disk drives, or 1.095TB. In addition, the JBOD can connect through a PCI host bus adapter or RAID controller to a server, which may be hardware- or software-RAID enabled. The ProFibre DF4000J was designed to be quickly and affordably upgraded to ProFibre RAID subsystems.
