PERC 5/i Internal RAID Adapter is a PCI Express based serial attached SCSI RAID controller that provides enterprise class protection and performance for supported Dell system. With support for RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50; the PERC 5/i provides multiple protection options to suit a wide range of applications and non-critical data. PERC 5/i uses 3Gbps SAS technology, which can deliver total bandwidth of up to 12Gbps or 1200Mbps per connector. PCI Express provides a high performance point-to-point link for interconnecting devices and transmitting data.
