The 48-port 10/100TX switching module provides 48 switched, 10/100-Mbps, full- or half-duplex ports. Ports have RJ-45 connectors for Category 5 cable. This module has 128K per-port packet buffers and a single fabric channel interface. The switching module is upgradable to support distributed forwarding with an optional Distributed Forwarding Card.
