The Dummy Network Adaptation module (DNAM) fills the empty space (if any exists) in the ONS 15200 Multichannel Unit (MCU) between the NAM modules and the Communication Interface module (CIM). The DNAM is passive and does not include alarm or supervisory subunit functions, or front-panel indicators, connectors, or adjustments.
