The Cisco 7304 SPA Modular Services Carrier Card is designed to enable facilitate the use of shared port adapters in the Cisco 7304 chassis and is mandatory when deploying SPAs on the platform. It allows the configuration of two half-height SPAs per chassis line-card slot. Online insertion and removal (OIR) of a SPA and carrier card is also supported.
