The OC-192c/STM-64c POS line card provides supported Cisco 12000 Series Internet Routers with one 10-Gbps POS interface on a single line card.The short-, intermediate-, and long-reach line cards interface with the router's high-speed switch fabric and provide one OC-192c/STM-64c duplex subscriber connector (SC) single-mode connection. The very short-reach line card provides one OC-192c/STM-64c duplex multiple terminations push-pull latch (MTP) multimode connection. The connection is concatenated, which provides for increased efficiency by eliminating the need to partition the bandwidth.
