The full-height line card may be used in any line-card slot in the Cisco 10000 Series chassis. The OC-48c/STM-16 POS line card is a standard implementation of POS. It supports advanced features such as SONET automatic protection switching (APS), SDH multiplex section protection (MSP), alarm processing, and performance monitoring, and is fully compatible with standards-based POS implementations on platforms.
