Cisco Systems offers an OC-3c/STM-1 POS Optical Services Module for high-speed, high-density WAN connectivity. In addition to high-touch IP service delivery, Gigabit Ethernet interfaces are provided on the same module and can be used for additional connectivity in service provider networks. This line card uniquely enables service providers to scale network bandwidth and performance while offering a wide range of IP services that may be applied without performance degradation.
