NEW enhanced PRI Network Modules offer a single integrated 10/100BaseTX port with eight fixed combinations of one and two-port T1/E1 PRI interfaces. The new network modules differ from the original PRI network modules in that they now include a 10/100 Ethernet port and the E1 versions now support balanced and unbalanced modes on the same card. The E1 versions are available factory configured in either mode, with an option to change mode if required. The T1 PRI/Channelized versions are available with and without an integrated CSU and in one or two-port versions. The network modules without an integrated CSU have a DB-15 connector and require a connection to an external CSU, PBX, or channel bank, whereas the network modules with an integrated CSU connect directly to the network via an RJ-45 cable.Each of the T1 network module versions support speeds up to 1.544Mbps full-duplex and provide up to 24 virtual interfaces in channelized mode, and up to 23 ISDN B-channels in the PRI mode. The E1 network modules come in either balanced (120 ohm) or unbalanced (75 ohm) modes and are compatible with the ITU-T G.703/G.704 specifications. All four versions have field changeable 75/120 ohm jumpers to select balanced and unbalanced modes. The E1 network modules supports speeds up to 2.048Mbps full-duplex and provide up to 30 virtual interfaces in channelized mode, and up to 31 ISDN B-channels in PRI mode.
