The two-port OC-12c/STM-4 POS Optical Services Module provides high-capacity, high-density connections along service provider distribution layer routers and to core routers. In addition to high-touch IP service delivery at OC-12 speeds, four Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on the same module offer additional connectivity. This line card uniquely enables service providers to scale network bandwidth and performance while offering a wide range of IP services that may be applied without performance degradation.
