Service providers desire to incrementally add network based IP services to generate new revenues without the associated cost of deploying customer premise equipment. The IP Services PICs from Juniper Networks deliver hardware-based packet processing to enable these network-based services with uncompromising performance. These services include stateful firewall, NAT, flow based accounting, IPSec encryption, multilink, tunnel services, and other value-added packet processing functions. Based on the highly dependable Juniper Networks hardware and software routing architecture, the IP Services PICs plug directly into M- and T-series routers and can be combined to enable multiple high-performance services on the same platform.
