The JNI 2Gb PCI Single Port Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) with the Sun StorEdge SAN Foundation Software (SFS) driver stack is equipped with 2Gb fiber channel designed to meet the requirements of the End-to-End 2Gb SAN Infrastructure offered by Sun. The JNI 2Gb PCI Single Port Fiber Channel HBAs are an addition to the Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure offering (4.x). In addition to the Sun branded FC HBAs, customers who have a preference for JNI HBAs in their SAN now have that option.
