The high-performance IBM eServer xSeries 382 2-way server delivers excellent 64-bit performance in rack-dense environments. Designed to help scientific and technical computing customers achieve new levels of application performance, the x382 features dual Intel Itanium 2 processors, fast Ultra320 SCSI hot-swap HDDs, and up to 16 GB of PC2100 ECC DDR memory. Integrated RAID-1 functionality allows customers to mirror HDDs for data protection and increased availability. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and three PCI-X slots help deliver substantial computing power to space-constrained, rack-dense environments. Its 2U form factor allows installation of up to 21 systems in an industry-standard rack.
