The HP A3312A field rackmount high availability storage system is a scaleable mass storage system optimized for high availability. It is designed for use on the HP 9000 Series 700 and 800 with HP-UX, and the HP 3000 Series 900 with MPE-iX, Version 5.0/Express 3. This storage system supports single-ended (SE) disk modules, fast/wide differential (DF) disk modules and single-ended digital data storage (DDS) tape modules.
