The ServerIronGT CGx2 SSL is pre-equipped with 2-port Gigabit line module and a WSM6-SSL-1 management module. One processor on the management module performs dedicated and reliable device management while the application processor performs application switching, traffic management, SSL acceleration and Web optimization. This system delivers up to 50,000 Layer-4 connections per second including data transfer, or Dos protection against up to 1,200,000 TCP SYN requests per second. The SSL-enabled processor is capable of delivering up to 2,000 new SSL connections per second.
