NetIron Layer 3 Stackable Switch is a stackable switching router that boosts Layer 3 performance and eliminates bottlenecks with wire-speed, multi-protocol routing. NetIron provides 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps connectivity and supports IP, IPX, RIP, OSPF, AppleTalk and IP multicast protocols. It can be used to build a low-cost, wire-speed collapsed backbone and provides up to 24 ports of 10/100 Ethernet and one or two ports of Gigabit Ethernet (fiber and copper).
