The Cisco WAAS Network Module provides customers with a low-cost, high-performance platform to host Cisco WAAS Software at the branch. The Cisco NME-WAE-302-K9 features 512 MB of RAM and an 80-GB hard disk drive (HDD) and is designed to be used with the Cisco WAAS Transport license. The Cisco NME-WAE-302-K9 is recommended for use in small branches where Cisco WAAS Transport license features are desired for accelerating access to applications over the WAN and for optimizing usage of WAN bandwidth.
