This 16MB memory SIMM module is configured specifically for Cisco Catalyst 5000 chassis.Catalyst Supervisor hardware revisions up to and including 1.6 (or assembly revisions up to and including 73-1414-08) require the different custom SIMM. Hardware revisions later than 1.6 can be upgraded by this SIMM.
