The PA-MC-E3 Multi-Channel E3 port adapter has one channelized E3 high-speed serial interface that provides access to services at E1 (2.048 Mbps) data rates, transferring data bidirectionally. This port adapter divides the E3 signal stream into 16 E1 lines that can be further divided into the 64 kbps level, up to a total of 128 channels.
